#1 April

On the heels of the inaugural World Baseball Classic, this month’s cover shows Ichiro Suzuki and Adrian Beltre in their WBC uniforms. The ’06 season is previewed inside, along with coverage of the WBC, an interview with new DH Carl Everett, Q & A sessions with Seattle General Manager Bill Bavasi and Oakland GM Billy Beane, Mike Gastineau’s “Voice of Reason,” and Jim Caple relates his memories of the late Kirby Puckett.

Catcher Kenji Johjima is cover-featured and interviewed this month.
